CHICAGO!

Tuesday morning we'll be flying off to the bright lights and big city of Chicago!  A city full of history: the industrial era, of mobsters, echos from the glitz and glam of the Gilded age, prohibition and best of all, America's favorite past time - baseball!

On April 23, 1914, the Cubs played their first home opener  and this year, Wrigley Field is going to be celebrating it's 100th anniversary with "the Party of the Century"! This coming Wednesday, April 23, will be the 100th anniversary game: Cubs vs. Diamondbacks featuring replica 1914 jerseys, giveaways and ball park food from the time period.  We will be there!

Then we'll pig out on a culinary smorgasbord of food trucks,

shop 'til we drop on Chicago's Magnificent Mile,

sail the waters of Lake Michigan for a panoramic view of the city and see the Chicago Harbor lighthouse,

play at the nostalgic Navy Pier, make faces in the giant bean in Millennium Park,

enjoy the splendor of Buckingham Fountain,

find the beginning of Rt 66 all while keeping our eyes peeled for the colorfully painted cows of Cow Parade!
